Motherwell defender Bevis Mugabi faces up to six weeks out with shoulder injury

Motherwell defender Bevis Mugabi faces being out for four to six weeks after the towering Ugandan international centre back suffered a dislocated shoulder in training.

“It is a blow to lose Bevis,” manager Stephen Robinson said. “He has played his way into the team and acquitted himself very well.

“He just seems to be unfortunate that when he gets a run of games, he suffers an injury.”

The first game Mugabi will miss is this Saturday’s home Scottish Premiership encounter against Ross County, kicking off at 3pm.
