Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson and ex-St Johnstone gaffer Tommy Wright are among four candidates being interviewed for the vacant Northern Ireland manager's job.

Robinson (45), who was born in Lisburn, assisted ex-Northern Ireland gaffer Michael O'Neill at the 2016 European Championships and has also coached his country's youth teams.

Motherwell boss Robbo - a popular figure with fans after leading the club to third place in last season's coronavirus-afflicted season - also has reaching both national cup finals with the Steelmen in the 2017-2018 campaign on his CV.

If he stays at Motherwell, he will lead the club into a Europa League first qualifying round tie on Thursday, August 27.
