Celtic are top of standings
The Scottish Premiership has been very competitive this season so where would teams finish if only 2019 results were looked at? (current league positions in brackets).
35 Points. The Hoops (1st) have continued their domestic domination this year with 11 wins and two draws from their 13 games in 2019. Only Livingston and Hibernian have held Celtic to 0-0 stalemates this year.
24 Points. Steven Gerrard's side (2nd) are trailing nine points behind Celtic and the Ibrox team's efforts during 2019 have seen them take 11 points less than the Hoops in this calendar year. Seven wins, three draws and two defeats.
22 Points. The Easter Road side (5th) are the third best team in Scotland this calendar year and they owe a lot to new gaffer Paul Heckingbottom. Since replacing Neil Lennon in February 13, Hibs are unbeaten in 10 matches.
22 Points. A bold tactical switch by Motherwell (8th) manager Stephen Robinson - changing from a rigid 3-5-2 formation to a much more attacking 4-3-3 - has yielded a stunning change of fortune for the Steelmen.
19 Points. Aberdeen (3rd) have slipped a distant 11 points behind second placed Rangers in the table. Their form in 2019 reads five wins, four draws and three defeats.
17 Points. Killie led the league briefly in December after an inspired start to the campaign under Steve Clarke. But in 2019 the Ayrshire side (4th) four wins, five draws and three defeats from 12 matches.
14 Points. A rollercoaster season for Hearts (6th) saw them lead the Premiership early on before suffering several injuries to key players saw them plumme. Craig Levein's men have won four, drawn two and lost six in the league in 2019.
12 Points. Livingston are well clear of the relegation area under new gaffer Gary Holt - who replaced Kenny Miller in August - and have added a further 12 league points to their tally in 2019.
11 Points. Accies (10th) have improved under new gaffer Brian Rice, who replaced sacked Martin Canning in January. The Accies are two points above St Mirren who occupy the relegation play-off spot.
10 Points. The Perth Saints (7th) were having another fine season under manager Tommy Wright in the early part of the season but, like Hearts, they have endured a recent collapse.
9 Points. The Buddies (11th) look set to avoid finishing bottom and automatic relegation as they are seven points clear of Dundee with just three games remaining.
8 Points. A disastrous season for the Dark Blues (12th) means that relegation is virtually certain as they are seven points adrift of second bottom St Mirren with just three games remaining.
