Jim wants the fans to come and vote

The Bully Wee is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on Saturday at Broadwood from 12.30pm, in advance of the match against Montrose. In comments published on the club website, Clyde John Alexander stressed the case for relocating the club.

Jim added: “I want the fans to come out and vote. It is important that they take this opportunity to make themselves heard rather than not do so and regret it afterwards. A move to East Kilbride represents a fantastic opportunity for the club to move forward in many ways. On Saturday, Clyde visited Ibrox and made their hosts work for a 2-0 win and the league title. Jim said: “We made it difficult for them, and in the final third we pushed a few bodies up the pitch to try for an equaliser. Unfortunately Rangers were able to capitalise on the space given to them but it was a game where the players showed a lot of commitment and held their nerve in front of 45,000 people at Ibrox.” Jim hopes that his men’s determined showing against Rangers could translate into a result on Saturday too. He said: “Montrose have been in play off contention for most of the season and are only out of that zone at the moment due to goal difference, so we can expect them to throw everything they have at us, But we can play well too and I am confident we can get a result.”
