Stuart Kettlewell has thanked fans for their efforts in making the Motherwell clash at Ross County - as the club send a fan refund update.
The Fir Park side advised no travel via the A9 amid Storm Bert and weather warnings in place. Some supporters buses were also cancelled and some fans were forced to turn back when it became clear the conditions would be too difficult to navigate. Motherwell would lose the game 2-1 thanks to Ronan Hale and Josh Nisbet strikes, with Zach Robinson’s goal merely acting as a consolation in the end.

Kettlewell said: “My most important message from this is I want to sincerely thank all supporters who braved the conditions today. Whether you made it to the stadium or had to turn back, that effort is not going unnoticed.
“Thank you to those who managed to get here and stuck by us. It was a total battle against the weather to achieve that, and I know it’s a long day for you as a result. I wish everyone a safe journey home.
“There aren’t any excuses with travel or weather. We should have been better in the game. The game was stop-start, and there wasn’t a flow. But we have to handle those situations.”

"We were comfortable in the first half, fashioned one real chance. It was always going to be a game with very little in it. When they scored the two goals we became ragged and scrappy. We played into the drama and the stop-start nature. That's our responsibility."
