Like most clubs, Jags are aware that the new challenges being faced in all of our lives right now mean that football is rightly not to the fore at present.

But when the time is right, football will return to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.

And as the financial effects of the shutdown continue to bite, Thistle - encouraged by their own fans’ backing - are giving supporters the chance to help now with a down payment on their 2020/21 season ticket, by making season tickets available for early purchase with prices frozen and a part-payment option available.

However the club is stressing that if fans can’t afford the cash right now they should wait, and only buy tickets if and when they can.

Announcing the sale, CEO Gerry Britton said: “It may seem to be a strange time to start selling season tickets when we don’t know when the season might begin but our fans have been pressing us to give them that option to show support for Thistle.

“We have various contingencies in development to support fans for all the possible permutations of seasons restarting, finishing and commencing. But there will be a season 2020/21 and our fans want to be at Firhill for it.

“While there are no current finance options available due to the lending restrictions most businesses are subject to at present, we anticipate that finance options will be available closer to the season start.

“Every one of us at the club would like to once again thank each and every supporter for their incredible backing.”
