Rangers star 'so angry' over not sealing summer transfer exit as he turns Ibrox 'godsend' with agent sacked
The Rangers forward failed to land a summer transfer move away from the club.
Derek McInnes insists Bojan Miovski can become a Rangers different maker after midweek heroics.
Reporting from the Scottish Sun states the striker ‘was so angry at failing to land a summer move he sacked his agent’ but then netted the winner in a 1-0 Premiership win over St Mirren. With Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chemiti injured, and new signing Kevin Kelsy still getting up to speed, the former Aberdeen man is a candidate to start Sunday’s Premier Sports Cup quarter-final versus Celtic.
Miovski had a difficult first season in Govan but boss McInnes insists he can still have an important role. The manager said: "It was a brilliant ending to the game. We have got to be honest and say it didn't look like it was coming. He came up with a big moment for us, a lovely finish and it was the finish that separated the teams.
Derek McInnes on Bojan Miovski
"It turns one point into three, which is vitally important for us. He's feeling good about himself, he bounced into the club this morning, but he's always a positive boy anyway. He's been good as gold since we've been in.
"When we arrived I thought we were fortunate to have someone that has prowess, has experience, has know-how of Scottish football. His goals per minute is really strong in the Premiership but for a long period through that transfer window he probably thought he would have to go elsewhere to get regular football.
"But such is the way things change in football, with Youssef and Lawrence's long-term injuries, having Bojan in the building is a godsend for me and something that he should take a lot of encouragement from between now and the end of the season. Hopefully he can go and have a big impact for us.
"I do think the window is very unsettling, very unnerving for a lot of players. There's always a lot of chat and a lot going on, agents in players' ears, clubs in players' ears, players don't really know what's happening. There's a lot of uncertainty and for a manager that can sometimes be difficult to navigate, but you've got to deal with it.
"I'm no different than probably a lot of players, a lot of managers, and I think that once the window closes it just brings that calmness, that clarity for everybody and I think that's important for any dressing room."

Bojan Miovski on parting with his agent
Miovski’s representatives were previously listed as Sport Interactive SPIN. In a social media post, the North Macedonian striker said: “I would like to confirm that I am currently not represented by any football agent or agency.
“For the time being, I will personally manage all matters relating to my professional career and future. Any enquiries regarding my professional career or future opportunities should be directed exclusively to me personally. Thank you for your understanding.”
