Corey Irvine won a loose ball midway into the Johnstone Burgh half on the right hand side. His diagonal low driven ball into the penalty area was missed by the Burgh centre half and from 12 yards Team swept the ball with his right boot first time beyond ’keeper Wilson.

It was Jay McKay’s turn to be the provider as Team doubled his and Rossvale’s tally two minutes before half-time.

McKay played a defence splitting ball between the centre-half and left-back and Team, who had timed his run to perfection to beat the offside trap, gathered the ball at pace, rounded Wilson and with a flick of the outside of his right boot placed the ball into the now empty net.

Rossvale’s advantage was increased to three 16 minutes into the second half.

From inside the centre circle Ryan Coll strode forward with the ball at his feet before playing an inch perfect pass into the path of Irvine charging down the right.

He continued his run into the penalty area cut the ball from a tight angle beyond the despairing legs of the Burgh ’keeper.

Team secured his hat trick and Rossvale’s fourth 12 minutes before time.

A quick clever driven pass from inside the centre circle by Kirk Forbes found McKay on the left.
