Snow go for junior sides

Cumbernauld United’s game against Maybole was unplayable as Guy’s Meadow fell foul of the wintry weather.

Kilsyth Rangers’ were scheduled to play host to Thorniewood but a snow covered pitch also put paid to this fixture.

However, if the weather relents in time for this weekend, the two local club’s will be facing each other in a Stagecoach West of Scotland Super League First Division match.

Kick-off at Duncansfield Park in Kilsyth is at 2 p.m.
