The players will not only be representing their community football club based in Newton Mearns, they’ll be the only Scottish club playing at their level across the tournament.

After debuting at Nevelo last year, the St Cadoc’s 2009 and 2010 squads are returning to face teams from Holland, England, Germany, France, Belgium and Denmark.

The 2010s are raring to go with the Reds team represented by Liam O’Malley, Ethan Scobie, Michael Gibson, Ollie Morley, Lewis Ramage, Evan Baxter, Gabriel Anderson, Michael O’Neill and Joe Kane while the 2010 Rovers team includes Lewis Clark, Lewis Livingstone, Ross Greenwell, Cain Greaves, Luca Saez, Leo Smith, Antony Fitzpatrick and Lleyton Johnston.

At home the teams play seven-a-side but will have to adapt to a Dutch six-a-side format using a bigger, but lighter, ball.
