Two out of two for Lok
The ‘Lok took the lead in the 61st minute when Davie Winters picked out Finlay Frye in the area. His effort was blocked, but the ball broke kindly for John Sweeney to squeeze the ball home from a tight angle, aided by the goalpost and the Vics’ David Wilson. The lead was doubled 6 minutes later, with Winters again playing an important role. His perfectly timed through ball allowed Kevin Bradley to spring the offside trap and finish with aplomb.
The visitors reduced the deficit in the 85th minute after bustling frontman Adam had his heels clipped by ‘Lok’s Jamie Darroch in the area. Referee Dickinson was left with little option but to award a penalty, and send the defender for an early bath. Adam made no mistake from the spot on this occasion, sending Harkness the wrong way. The home team managed to close out the remainder of the game with no further scoring.
