Bully Wee boss Jim Duffy made one change to the team that lost at Elgin last week, with Stuart McColm replacing Pat Scullion. There were spaces on the bench for Bradley Coyne, Jamie Barclay and Neil Janczyk as a trialist.

The 1-0 victory at Galabank saw Stefan McCluskey grabbing the only goal of the game on the quarter-hour mark.

Clyde manager Jim Duffy was a happy man after his side’s win at Annan.

He told the Clyde website: “I’m delighted with the victory. I thought that we thoroughly merited the three points, our concentration and focus was excellent.

“I’m especially pleased with the clean sheet.

“It’s a result that gets us back on track and we now need to carry on with that form at Broadwood.”

The Bully Wee boss also had an update on two players that had to be taken off the field with injuries.

“Marsh suffered a head knock and was taken to hospital after the game for a precautionary exam,” he said.

“Our medical team will continue to monitor him. Scott Ferguson had cramp, but because it was his hamstring rather than his calf we didn’t want to take any risks.

“Gladly, the bench is stronger now and we had options ready to come on.”
