“I am really looking forward to the next two seasons with the Rocks.

“This seemed like the perfect time to come home to play with the Rocks especially with them setting up a new partnership with the University of the West of Scotland.

“This will give me the opportunity to complete my Masters degree while playing in front of family and friends who have not been able to see as many games while I have been playing abroad.

“Looking forward to what will, hopefully, be a successful couple of years on and off court.”

Fraser, who originates from Falkirk, will no doubt play an integral role in the growth of the Rocks franchise after signing a two-year deal which will see him committed to the only men’s professional basketball team in Scotland until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Glasgow Rocks co-owner, Duncan Smillie, added: Ali is an outstanding player and I’m sure he’ll be one of the best British players in the BBL next season.”
