Get training and take on Cumbernauld 10k

THERE is still time to register for Cumbernauld’s annual fun run.

The 2013 Cumbernauld 10K takes place on September 22. The race, which is accompanied by 1K and 3K races for children, attracts hundreds of entrants every year and raises huge amounts of cash for good causes.

One of them is News and Chronicle reader Samantha Stokes, who wrote in to say her family were signed up. “I am running the Cumbernauld 10k with my husband Paul, sister Catherine Desta and her sons, Michael and Martin. My two children, Adam and Beth, are running the 3k and 1k respective of their age.
