Giffnock girls gained podium places at national cross country
The trio of Helen Chong, Heather Barnes and Sarah Olivia Eunson finished second, with third place going to Kate Richardson, Emily Crusher and Erin Wallace.
Scotland’s top cross country runners took part in an event which has now become one of the biggest days on the athletics calendar in Scotland.

Hide AdIt’s the 15th year that Cumbernauld House Park has hosted it and organisers scottishathletics were delighted at both the large number of entries and the size of the crowd, estimated at between 3000 and 4000 spectators.
In the senior men’s race Central AC’s ‘yellow train’ proved unstoppable as they celebrated a ‘four in a row’ success.
