Glasgow city secure proven goalscorer

Cheryl made her debut yesterday, playing 90 minutes against top English side Manchester City, and enhances the squad for the season ahead.

City head coach Eddie Wolecki Black said: “Cheryl brought a focal point to our attack yesterday and showed she has many attributes that will benefit us as a club. I can see her playing a major part in our team this season.

“The ensuing weeks and months will ensure she gets up to speed with how the club operates. I believe she will improve her game.”

Cheryl added: “I am honoured to have signed for Glasgow City and can’t wait for the season to get under way.

“I will be playing alongside the best players in Scotland and working under the coaches will give me the platform to develop as a player.

“I am looking forward to the challenges the season brings and hopefully I can contribute to the clubs future successes.”
