Gold success for Williamwood High rowers
From the size of their smiles it's fair to assume these girls are '˜oar' the moon at their latest sporting achievement.
Williamwood High School pupils Kirstie Macnaughton (S3) and Morven McKinnon (S3) along with their cox Kirsty Hunter(S6) won gold at the Scottish Rowing Championships.
They won the Girls Under 15 Quads, along with crew mates Emma Morrison of Mearns Castle and Sophie Morrison of Lomond School, against stiff competition in the final against crews from George Watsons, Balfron, George Heriots, and Inverness.
