On Wednesday, June 11 the first round of the Wednesday Shield was played at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club in warm summer conditions.

Taylor Wilson was in hot form when he carded a super 60, likewise in the scratch bracket when the in form Alan J. Brown hit a nice 73.

The weekend of June 22-23 was a fun occasion at the club as both gent’s and ladies’ captains celebrated their charity days.

Both competitions were well supported with the chosen charities benefiting from the support of members and various local businesses. Both captains, Alex Burns (pictured above with Ladies) and Joyce Phew, would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fun weekend.

The winner of this years gent’s handicap strokeplay played on Tuesday, June 11 was Paul Martin with a splendid score of 68.
