Ian takes top spot in Winter League

There was an amazing finale to this year’s Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club’s Winter league with congratulations to Ian Currie for winning the trophy by one shot.

Ian has qualified for the last three finals and it was certainly third time lucky although it took a countback to decide the outcome, as John Love tied the lead with Ian on 42 points.

However, with a one shot better back nine, it was Ian’s name on the trophy which he topped off with a champagne celebration.

The new season kicks off with a captains v president four ball on Saturday, March 29.

A reminder to members the entry sheets for the knockout competitions are now posted on the locker room notice boards.
