Jamie Mac’s back in Forth Wanderers pack

FORMER Forth Wanderers manager Jamie McKenzie has returned to the club claiming he has “unfinished business” with the Kingshill Park side.

Jamie stepped down as Forth boss in May last year with work commitments being blamed for his departure.

However, with that issue now being resolved, Jamie had no hesitation in taking the job for a second time after the shock departure of player-manager Chris McGroarty.

Jamie said: “I spoke to John McCormick (Forth committee man) on Sunday after Chris left the club and he told me about the situation.

“It was a pretty easy decision for me. My work situation has changed so there are no problems on that front but I had to make sure it was the right decision for me and for the club.

“I was at the Wishaw game two weeks ago (Forth lost 7-1 in the West of Scotland Cup) and it was unfortunate to lose goals in the manner we did.

“My job now is to stabilise the club and to get us challenging for promotion.”
