Lanark Swimathon will raise funds for Marie Curie

THERE’S a great opportunity for people to have fun at Lanark Lifestyles Centre next month, while raising money for Marie Curie Nurses care for the terminally ill.

The third annual Swimathon challenge – from April 26 to 28 – will see participants take to the pool to race 1.5km, 2.5km or 5km individually or as part of a team.

“This event is great for people who want to take on a challenge, try to achieve their goal and raise money for a worthy cause,” said organiser Lindsey Leeper.
