Lanark’s Chantelle is birthday bowling champion
WHEN Lanark’s Chantelle Geddes turned 15 years old last week, she had far more than just another birthday to celebrate.
That’s because, on that very day, Chantelle won the Lanarkshire Junior Girls Bowling Championship title, beating off the cream of talent from greens the length and breadth of the county.
Not only did the win at the Daziel Club spark off celebrations among friends and family, it was cause for enormous joy in her ‘home’ club, Lanark Thistle.
