Lenzie 2002 get set for Sweden

Lenzie 2002 played a training game against the skilful and strong Celtic Ghirls 2000/1 on Saturday – and were overrun by the power and strength of their opponents in the first session.

But the team but stuck at it and improved in the second and third sessions, and the session was a useful part of the build-up to their trip to Sweden for memorable participation in the Fargelanda Cup in Uddevalla.

There they will be competing against teams from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Lenzie are the only UK team taking part so hope to produce good performances like those of the Scottish International side.

On their return they will play in the CSFA League this season, play Saturday morning football and train twice weekly.
