‘Lok widen the gap
This extends the ‘Lok’s unbeaten run to six games on the trot — with no goals conceded in any of these games.
The ‘Lok took the lead in the seventh minute, Tam Hanlon’s cross from the right wing being guided low into the corner of MacGregor’s net by Davie Winters controlled volley, netting the striker his 18th goal of the season.

Hide AdThe lead was doubled in the 18th minute when Kevin Bradley’s long pass over the top of the Rob Roy defence found Allan MacKenzie, who held the ball up well to lay into the path of Kieran McAleenan to rifle low past home custodian Johnny Murdoch from 20 yards.
Pollok were given a golden opportunity to extend the lead in second half injury time when Martin Brogan was adjudged to have felled substitute Ryan MacBeth in the area.
Winters stepped up to take the resultant penalty — Murdoch saving with his legs — starting a counter attack which ended with the Rabs’ Chris Duff poking the ball wide.
This Saturday Pollok travel the road and the miles up to Dundee on Scottish Junior Cup duty when they face Dundee Violet on their home turf.
Kick off at Glenesk Park is 1.45 pm.
