Mouse Valley entered administration on Tuesday – two months after its clubhouse, professional shop, starters hut, dressing room and toilets at Kames Country Club were first locked up and abandoned by director James Forrest.

But the members are determined to keep the club going and – as the Gazette went to press on Tuesday – they were attempting to secure a six-week lease of the course with administrators Armstrong Watson ahead of a potential buy-out.
