Motherwell hosts massive taekwondo event this weekend
This weekend, a record entry of over 600 athletes will compete in the Taekwondo Scotland Championships at Ravenscraig.
It’s the premier National level taekwondo event in Scotland this year.
It will feature classic fighting taekwondo known as Kyorugi and Poomsae, a defined set of movements incorporating blocking, kicking and striking techniques.
Poomsae will feature on Saturday, with Kyorugi on Sunday.
Fighters from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be joined by athletes from Denmark, Germany and Norway.
