There was no glory for Carluke trainer Keith Dalgleish at Friday night's Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell showpiece staged at Hamilton Park Racecourse, writes Craig Goldthorp.
Eye Of The Storm, a 16/1 shot trained by Dalgleish at Carluke’s Belstane Racing Stables, finished a distant fifth behind winner Archi’s Affaire – ridden by Callum Rodriguez and trained by Michael Dods – an 11/2 shot which claimed the massive £22,410 first prize.
In an exciting one-mile, four-furlong race run on good to soft ground, Archi’s Affaire won by half a length from Jabbaar.
