No rest for keen kids during sporty summer

Last week, budding rugby players were in action at Auldhouse, learning at the feet of Calum Forrester, Ayr’s current captain and a former Glasgow Warrior, as well as Peter Jericevich, Ayr’s scrum half and a Scotland sevens international.

GHA full back Andrew Gillman was also passing on his years of Premier rugby experience to the youngsters at Premier Sports camps.

Meanwhile, Whitecraigs rugby club are running a pair of summer camps; one starting July 16, the next beginning July 23.

At West Lodge, Brandon Wamberg and several other members of the first XV will lead girls and boys from P3 to S2 on rugby related games and coaching.
