Club coach Karen Kelly had pledged to donate the cash based on medals won and the number of personal best times set.

She said: “A huge well done to all of the swimmers.”

Lanark star Erin Snow won the 100m breaststroke, 200m breaststroke, 200m individual medley and 400m individual medley. She was also second in the 200m backstroke.

Lanark’s other District Champion was 11-year-old Mark Ford in the 400m IM. He went on to win four silver and two bronze medals. Team-mate Mitchell Stevenson (13) won bronze in the 400m IM.
