Whitelaw father and daughter win at Hollandbush

RIGSIDE father and daughter James and Claire Whitelaw made history at Hollandbush Golf Club by winning top titles on the same day.

James (48) and his 20-year-old girl won the respective Men’s ‘A’ Club Championship and Ladies Championship trophies by winning their matchplay finals on August 23.

James, who has now won a total of nine gents titles at six different clubs, said: “This win means the most to me as I won on the same day as Claire.”
