Summer Nights at the Bandstand has returned to Kelvingrove Park for the ninth year with plenty of huge acts taking to the stage in the West End of the city.
Legends of the music industry have graced the stage at Kelvingrove Bandstand over the past decade and we think that these are some of the most memorable performances at the venue which have been organised by Regular Music.
From some of the most famous singer-songwriters of all time to bands that we absolutely love, here are our favourite bandstand gigs.

5. Texas
Texas are one of the biggest bands to have performed at the bandstand. Sharleen Spiteri and co played back-to-back nights at the venue in August 2017 on their Jump On Board tour. Their setlist on the night included "Say What You Want", "Inner Smile" and "I Don't Want a Lover". Photo: Suhaimi Abdullah

6. Roddy Frame
Former Aztec Camera frontman Roddy Frame has made two appearances at Kelvingrove Bandstand. The most memorable of these gigs would have been the show there in 2018 after a three year hiatus in Glasgow. | BBC

7. Patti Smith
Another memorable performance at Kelvingrove Bandstand came back in August 2019 when American singer-songwriter and poet Patti Smith headed to the West End of the city. Writing about the concert, The Scotsman said: "There is a special energy at a Kelvingrove Bandstand show when a legend graces its small stage and easily reaches the back of this intimate amphitheatre, and this spiritual set by punk poet laureate Patti Smith was no exception, with the huddled masses metaphorically cross-legged at her feet awaiting enlightenment." | Getty Images

8. Primal Scream
Primal Scream made one appearance at Kelvingrove Bandstand back in August 2016. Tunes on the night included "Movin' on Up", "Loaded" and "Rocks". | Plaster
