Chance to see Motherwell Theatre’s smash hit panto online

Readers are being reminded that those with access to the right technology can still see the pantomime that is such a smash hit in Motherwell every year.

For the hard working crew headed up by pantomine start Ian ‘Sheepie’ Smith at Starbright Entertainments have succeeded in staging a festive extravaganza from mid December, online.

This has been enabled by cash from a rescue funding package from Creative Scotland aimed at helping the arts during the pandemic.

‘Lost in Pantoland’ draws to a halt on Sunday (January 10 )but not before Sheepie has set on a daily quest to harness the magic of every pantomime to become powerful enough to banish King Rat!

Sheepie needs the audience’s help to make the right decisions en route - and he’ll be asking them for assistance which will determine the way the story will go.

A show spokesman added: “ Once you have successfully completed the quest and saved Pantoland, you can even go back to the start and make different choices to create another storyline.

“Joining Sheepie within our talented cast are Kilmarnock panto favourites Fraser Boyle and Gary Morrison, as well as familiar Motherwell panto regular Jamie Bannerman, and Holly Reynolds.”
