Cumbernauld and Kilsyth book groups could land TV slot on BBC show

BBC Scotland has approached the Cumbernauld News and Kilsyth Chronicle in its quest to secure guest slots for The Big Scottish Book Club.

Cumbernauld man Nicholas Boyle who is an assistant producer on the show said that he is “determined” to get a local group on the programme!

Nicholas said:“We’re looking for any groups with a passion for literature, discussion, or just love getting together for a good chat about books.

This is the second series of the show, presented by Damian Barr (pictured) who is best known for the book “Maggie and Me.”
