The Great CHAS Dinner Party was originally planned to be a one-day only gala fundraiser.

However, because of the latest pandemic restrictions, which state that households are unable to mix, CHAS has now extended the event to run every day in October.

For just £25 – the cost of providing a week’s worth of meals for a family at a CHAS hospice – participants will receive a bespoke dinner party pack, a discount code for a luxury Haar at Home box and will be entered into a prize draw to win a meal for two at top St Andrews restaurant, Haar, run by Masterchef: The Professionals finalist Dean Banks.

CHAS is also working with Glengoyne and Boozy Events which have pledged to donate a percentage of sales from the event to CHAS.

Those who sign up can hold a dinner party on any evening of their choosing in October.

Comedian Fred MacAulay will be hosting a whisky quiz and Glengoyne tasting session with whisky ambassador Gordon Dallas and former Scotland rugby captain Andy Nicol.

And music-lovers can enjoy tunes by Edinburgh band Bleeker, KT Tunstall, Massaoke and Silent Adventures.
