Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to seven South Lanarkshire establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of South Lanarkshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Pass: Biggar Youth Project at The Old Auction Ring, South Back Road, Biggar; rated on July 25

• Pass: Subway at 5 Mitchell Arcade, Rutherglen, Glasgow; rated on July 25

• Pass: Lindsayfield Lodge Care Home and Coffee Shop at 1 Rosa Burn Avenue, East Kilbride, Glasgow; rated on July 22

• Pass: Rosaburn House at Rosaburn Avenue, Lindsayfield, East Kilbride; rated on July 22

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Pass: Picture House at 39 Main Street, Rutherglen, Glasgow; rated on July 27
