A South Lanarkshire drinking establishment has been handed a new "improvement required" food hygiene rating.

Hamilton Churches Drop In Centre, a pub, bar or nightclub at 14 Beckford Street, Hamilton was given the score after assessment on February 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Lanarkshire's 239 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 213 (89%) have pass ratings and 26 (11%) require improvement.
