A South Lanarkshire takeaway has been handed a new "improvement required" food hygiene rating.

Amritsari Snacks, a takeaway at 3 Cambuslang Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow was given the score after assessment on November 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Lanarkshire's 190 takeaways with ratings, 148 (78%) have pass ratings and 42 (22%) require improvement.
