Blues band aim to hook Riverside audience

Tune in to the new STV news magazine show, Riverside, tomorrow night (Friday) and you may just see a few friendly faces.

Five-piece band Dirty Diamond and the Gunslinger are booked to perform three of their own songs: Baby Blues, Old Clyde River and Baby Don’t Love Me Enough.

Lead guitarist Paul Watson, from Queen’s Park, describes their music as blues-rock with a hint of gospel, inspired by blues and rock legends Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters and the Rolling Stones.

That description alone would be enough to tune in to The Riverside Show tomorrow between 6.30-8.30pm.
