Digital Content Curator
I am a Digital Content Curator at National World and create Google Showcase panels as well as writing content for a variety of sites across the UK including Yorkshire Evening Post, LondonWorld and ManchesterWorld. I write celebrity focused content and have been covering mainly television shows such as Dancing on Ice and I’m A Celebrity. Originally from Chelmsford, I completed my MA in Radio at Goldsmiths University and a BA in TV and Radio at the University of Salford. My previous work experience covers The Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2, Times Radio, TalkSport and Virgin Radio, as well as local work at Chelmsford Community Radio and Hospital Radio Chelmsford. During my time at Times Radio I covered the COVID-19 impact on travel and attended the Aviation Conference with EasyJet CEO Jurgen Lundgren where I was able to get audio to the station’s listeners hours before other stations. I’ve also worked on a documentary audio piece Living with Endo that explored the condition Endometriosis and the impact it has on 1 in 10 women in the UK. The article I am most proud of is when I wrote about the NeighbourGood Cafe in London that was opening as a pop-up taking payments of good deeds instead of cash. The story had a real community feel and London World was able to get exclusive videos and interviews following my research. In my spare time I really enjoy playing video games including Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and The Sims. I’m an avid bookworm but also enjoy playing board games, baking and dancing around my flat to Taylor Swift in my sloth Oodie.
