These are the 8 of the best pubs and restaurants in Paisley!
Paisley is the place to be these days, we've been saying it for years, that the Renfrewshire town has a criminally underrated food and drink scene - hosting some of the very best pubs and restaurants in the West of Scotland.
People say Glasgow's the friendliest city in the world, we'd go as far as saying Paisley's even friendlier. Today we're done overlooking Paisley in favour of its bigger and bolder next door neighbour, today we're taking a look at some of the best food and drink spots that the town has to offer.
Right in the middle of Paisley, Cardosi's is a restaurant that has serious heritage in the town. The Cardosi's are to Paisley what Coia's, Eusebi's, and the Verrecchia's are to Glasgow. The Cardosi family first opened a fish & shop and cafe in the town - now they take that generational experience to a proper sit down Italian restaurant. | Contributed
6. Pendulum Bar & Grill - 11 Gauze Street
Another restaurant right in the heart of the historic town centre - this restaurant specialising in Scottish cuisine is a must-visit. If nothing else, you've got to try their Cullen Skink. | Contributed
7. Okome - 30-32 Moss Street
Featuring ramen, rice bowls, and sushi - this is one of Paisley's only Japanese restaurants, and it's fair to say its very impressive. From lush vibrant interiors to delicate flavours all the way from Japan - you've got to try Okome next time your in Paisley. | Okome
8. The Cave - 38 New Street
There's a certain ambience about The Cave that makes it so cool. It's hard to put your finger on, but between there no nonsense approach, dedication to local live entertainment, and excellent pours - you'll be having to good a time to think about it. | Contributed
