What’s on in Clydesdale today?

In Carluke the Christmas Fair in St Athanasius Hall takes place throughout the morning while over in Kirkton Church Hall a Girls Brigade cream tea is on from 10am.

Carnwath Town Hall will be packed from 10.30am as the village’s Guild hosts its Winter Fair and Lanark’s Cancer Research UK volunteers will host its own event in the Tolbooth from 10am.

Staying in Lanark, the Clydesdale Horse Society Winter Fair is sure to bring a big crowd to the town’s agricultural centre.

In the evening there is not one but two comedy nights with the St Bride’s Centre in Douglas and the Tinto House Hotel playing host to some of the country’s best comedians.

Opera Bohemia present Madame Butterfly at Lanark Memorial Hall from 7.30pm and in Carluke there is the Dean Park variety show at Carluke Bowling Club whilst Sandra and Sol entertain in Carluke Rovers Social Club.
