Local East Renfrewshire women, Julie Keough (Netherlee), Michelle Nicol (Netherlee) and Nicky Gardner (Newton Mearns) have raised over £3,500 in the fight against cancer. On Saturday, September 26, together with their three ScottishPower colleagues, they harnessed their positive energy at the Shine Night Walk in London to raise vital funds for ScottishPower’s charity partner, Cancer Research UK. The team laced up their walking shoes for the arduous 26-mile challenge across the capital in support of a work colleague who has had treatment for cancer.
