1. National Cycle Route 756/754 to Bowling Harbour.
A great way to spend a day cycling is taking the bike down the Clyde Canal down to Bowling. Expect to see lots of greenery, wildlife, and more. | Contributed

2. Pollok Country Park Loop
Pollok Country Park is our favourite park in Glasgow, and it's even more enjoyable whizzing around on a sunny day taking in all the sites - Highland Cows, beautiful nature, and even the Burrell Collection (though you'd need to park your bike outside of course). | © Glasgow Life / Paul Watt Photography

3. The banks of the River Clyde cycle route
A classic, but for a reason. Experience the beauty and heritage Glasgow has to offer along the River Clyde taking in the Finnieston Crane, Riverside Museum, Govan Graving Docks, and much more. | John Devlin Photo: John Devlin

4. Glasgow Green Circuit
Short, simple, and very beginner friendly. It's all very flat of course, but on a sunny day there's not much better than looping around Glasgow Green a couple of times and doing some fly-by people watching. | © Glasgow Life / Paul Watt Photography
