Glasgow Subway have provided us with data which details the busiest stations by passenger entries over 2023 - so naturally we've ranked the stations from most to least busy.
There aren't a great deal of surprises in the top three busiest stations as Buchanan Street, Hillhead and St Enoch came out on top in the city with all having over one million passengers pass through the stations between January, 1 2023 and December 31, 2023.

5. Partick
Partick subway which is located underneath the train station was the fifth busiest station with 976,780 entries per year. | SPT
6. Kelvinhall
Kelvinhall station on Dumbarton Road is the sixth busiest Glasgow subway station with 794,596 entries per year. | Google Maps
7. Govan
Govan station which is the main depot of the underground was the seventh busiest station in Glasgow with 730,580 entries per year. | Google Maps
8. St George’s Cross
St George’s Cross station at the bottom of Maryhill Road was the eighth busiest Glasgow subway station with 555,334 entries per year. | Supplied
