VIP Jag Day 2010 in Crossford

On a day which saw a spectacular display of 80 Jaguar cars and over 100 other vehicles built from the 1950s onwards, the quad bikes went down equally well with the hundreds of spectators in attendance.

Talented riders zoomed along at high speeds across a field near the showground, before vaulting 10 feet into the air off strategically placed mounds of dirt.

Event organiser Elizabeth Gilmour said: "The drivers were so good that they were going absolutely crazy on the jumps!"

Crowds were also wowed by the vast selection of Jaguars and other models on show, by car enthusiasts from all over the country.

Trophies, sponsored by Martin Robey, were later given out to all the leading Jaguar exhibitors in six separate classes.

In two overall categories, Keith Perkins' Mondeo ST 220 won Pride and Joy and Peter Irvine's Alvis Speed 20SE saloon was named Best in Show.
