There are going to be a significant number incomings and outgoings at Rangers this summer - which would have been inevitable regardless of the outcome of the upcoming Scottish Cup final against Old Firm rivals Celtic in just 10 days time.
With their Premiership title hopes now all but over for another year, manager Philippe Clement will have a clearer idea of how he wants his side to look next season and what players in certain positions he requires to bring so much-needed balance to his squad.
The Belgian has spoken at length about the lack of consistency his team have displayed over the course of the campaign, but he will be determined to finish on a high and head into the summer transfer window on the back of another trophy success to add to their League Cup triumph back in December.
Clement has been in the Ibrox hot seat for seven months. In that time, he transformed the Light Blues into genuine title contenders after a rocky start to the campaign under previous boss Michael Beale. Momentum has stalled at a crucial stage, but a cup double would still represent a successful season for the club - something most fans would have bitten your hand off for given the state they found themselves in last October.
Once again, though, it’s Celtic that stand in their way and Clement needs to come up with the right answers if he is to avoid tasting yet another defeat against the Parkhead side.

9. Is Clement likely to make the centre-back position a transfer priority?
Uncertainty over Clement's strongest centre-back pairing remains and it's one area of the pitch the Belgian could look to strengthen, especially if stalwart and the club's highest earner Goldson was to head for pastures new. It has been largely a season to forget for the ex-Brighton defender, who was dropped from the XI by Clement last month and is no longer viewed as first-choice centre half. But with Leon Balogun out of contract come the end of the season, Ben Davies failing to cut it and youngster Leon King lacking regular first-team action, Clement could seek reinforcements with only John Souttar left as the reliable option head into next season. 10. Will Clement utilise youth next season to bridge gap between first-team and academy set-up?
Clement turned to a number of the club's promising youth prospects against Dundee on Tuesday night, handing senior debuts to 21-year-old left-back Robbie Fraser and teenage midfielder Cole McKinnon, who was making just his third appearance. The Belgian has been in attendance at several youth games this season, including the recent Under-18s cup final against Aberdeen and is keen to promote from within. He has been giving these players periods to train alongside the first-team squad in order for them to understand the demands he has set. Clement has stressed the importance of continuing to integrate and help develop rising stars - a theme we could see more off next season. | Getty Images

11. Will Clement retain any out of contract players this summer?
With as many as SIX players out of contract this summer - Lundstram, Barisic, Balogun, Roofe, Jack and McLaughlin - Clement has admitted decisions over their futures have already been made even though he stated there was still time for the players in question to change his thought process over the remaining weeks of the campaign. Two stars definitely heading through the exit door are Barisic and Roofe, but midfielder Lundstram is also expected to follow suit having failed to reach an agreement with club officials over a new deal. Another potential loss to the engine room could be veteran Ryan Jack, who is in his seventh season at Ibrox but has struggled to regain full fitness due to a never-ending run of injury setbacks. His luck could well have run out, even though some fans will argue he should stick around to help fulfil Rangers' homegrown contingent for European competition. Balogun has confirmed he would be open to extending his stay and the least said about McLaughlin the better... | Getty Images
