How to watch Rangers vs St Mirren: Live stream, team news, referee and VAR for SPFL Premiership clash
Everything you need to know about how to watch the Light Blues in action during midweek
Rangers face Scottish Premiership rivals St Mirren at home in their latest league fixture as manager Derek McInnes seeks to continue their winning run ahead of their Old Firm double header.
The Light Blues defeated Motherwell 1-0 at Ibrox to make it four domestic wins on the trot - a run which started against the Buddies in last month’s home 5-1 Premier Sports victory. McInnes will now face opposite number Craig McLeish for the second time this season in the league. After St Mirren, the Light Blues are up against rivals Celtic home and away in two fixtures which could define their season.
McInnes has found some winning momentum just as he needed it as Rangers boss. After their failure to qualify for the UEFA Conference League against Czech minnows Jablonec, the pressure was already mounting. The midweek fixture against St Mirren was supposed to have taken place on Saturday, 22 August, but the SFA allowed all Scottish clubs competing in Europe the weekend off to maximise preparations.
St Mirren have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign despite narrowly missing out on relegation last season. McLeish recently secured August’s Manager of the Month award for his side - who are currently above Rangers in the standings. In a match that hasn’t been chosen for commercial television broadcast, here’s how Gers fans without a ticket can still tune in, as well as some other useful match information:

What is the Rangers team news ahead of St Mirren?
McInnes confirmed striker and club captain Lawrence Shankland could be sidelined for up to four months after hobbling off against Motherwell with a hamstring issue. He joins fellow forward Youssef Chermiti in the treatment room following his ACL injury last month. Strikers Ryan Naderi and Kevin Kelsy could take their place. Winger Daisuke Yokota is also expected to miss out with a groin issue, leaving room for a potential debut for Stuttgart loanee Badredine Bouanani.
At the other end of the pitch, right back Kosta Nedeljkovic is a doubt as he nurses a foot issue. Left back Tuur Rommens remains out with a groin injury. Utility man Dujon Sterling looks to have regained full fitness after he completed 90 minutes against the Steelmen.
