Celtic star backed by Arsenal and Everton hero to make Premier League transfer as three giant clubs named
Hoops star who’s scoring goals ‘for fun’ would cut it south of the border according to countryman
Celtic midfielder Benjamin Nygren could do improve the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton if he were to make the switch to the Premier League.
That is, according to his countryman Anders Limpar, who won the First Division with Arsenal and FA Cup with Everton as a player. The former Swedish international midfielder is a huge admirer of Nygren’s - and believes he is able to make the step up to the next level.
Since signing from Danish side Nordsjaelland last season, Nygren has scored 22 and registered eight assists in a green and white jersey. The 25-year old has become a key component of manager Martin O’Neill’s formula in his attacking midfield role. After the summer’s World Cup, when asked about if his future lied elsewhere amid transfer speculation, Nygren responded ‘we’ll see’. But despite outlining his ambitions to play at a higher level one day, he remains a Celtic player for now and is under contract until 2030.

Limpar names Premier League trio who Nygren could help
The Swede told told PariuriX: “Benjamin Nygren is good enough to play in the Premier League, and you can see that he’s still knocking them in for Celtic for fun. It would be stupid for clubs in the Premier League to not buy him this summer.
“Man United at the moment are struggling. Really, really struggling. Liverpool are struggling at the moment. Everton are not struggling, but they need quality forwards like Nygren. There are a few clubs he can actually choose from that haven’t got a good winger/forward. So, all the Premier League clubs should be looking at this guy, because he’s going to come cheap and he’s a hell of a player.”

What did Nygren say regarding transfer noise in the summer?
During an interview with Swedish media shortly after the World Cup, Nygren’s ambivalent answer to a question regarding his future only increased the decibels of transfer noise.
When asked by Goteborgs-Posten if he expected to remain a Celtic player, he replied: “We’ll see. I have my dreams and goals that I fight for every day and that I have done since I was young. I still have them, and that is to play at the highest possible level. But when that happens, I can’t answer right now.”
