La Liga star '100%' wants Rangers transfer move as ace gets real over Ibrox chances amid previous 'talks'
A La Liga striker insists it’s still his ambition to pull on a Rangers jersey one day.
Oli McBurnie has only just arrived in Spain with Las Palmas but he has never hidden his love for the Ibrox club. Possible chances to join the club have came and went before in talks while none appeared this summer after becoming a free agent, following his exit from Sheffield United.

Asked if signing for Rangers was still something he wanted to do, McBurnie told Open Goal: "Yeah, 100 per cent. To be fair this was the only year when I've not heard anything from them.
"There's always been talks but nothing has really come of it, whether it has been the right time for me or them. But I don't think now is the right time for me to do it, I've signed for three years here.
"Obviously I was a free contract in the summer. I was always in contact with Sheffield. I love the place, love everything about it, but I kind of wanted a new challenge. I had a couple of Saudi things but I've just had my daughter and I'm going there to retire if I go out there.
“Then my agent rang me and said Las Palmas have just sent us an offer. They did a Zoom call the next day, a full presentation about how I play and how that would suit the way they play."
