5. Celtic Connections
Celtic Connections is one of the biggest folk festivals in the world and it takes place right on our doorstep. Experience the very best of traditional Scottish music while finding new favourites in the music of other cultures from across the globe. Photo: Gaelle Beri
6. Have a dram at the Glasgow Whisky Festival
The Glasgow Whisky Festival is coming to SWG3 later this month. You don't want to miss it if you're a fan of whisky, but that goes without saying. All kinds of the best Whisky from across Scotland and further afield will be up for grabs.
7. Riverside Festival
Riverside Festival just announced their line-up for 2024, with tickets going on sale this Friday (January 12) - it's an annual event for electronic music fans across Scotland, and 2024 might just be the year to dig out the old moon boots and see what the new generations are doing on the decks.
8. Tenement Trail
Tenement Trail is one of our favourite days of the year here in Glasgow. A one day festival across venues in the East End showcasing the very best of local bands - if you're looking to find your new favourite artist, this is the trail you want to follow.
